Back on the road in the Lark. Jan 13-14 2015

Arrived Orange City, Fl and Blue Springs State Park.  This stop was on a Lark-in the Lark. We had two open days and a spot was available to park. Blue Springs is an artisan spring. Warm water by the millions of gallons a day come up to the surface in a "boil".
Manatees, an endangered mammal, seek out warm spring waters in the winter. A spa for Manatees.

The water is crystal clear and everything is brilliant green. We walked through a hammock, which is a forest in a swamp. We saw many manatees with babies. This is also a fav swimming hole when the manatees are out to sea. With 6 poison snakes and alligators everywhere....I'll pass on swimming with them.

A lovely **** star camp at Blue Springs.
